The basic geometry primitives are Box, Cone, Cylinder and Sphere. For
each of these geometries, textures are positioned automatically. The
texture at the left is used to illustrate how textures are applied to
each of the primitive shapes.
Box
The size field for the Box node specifies the dimensions of the box parallel
to each of the coordinate axes. In local coordinates, the center of the box
is at the origin. The textures on all sides are upright. On the top of the box,
the top of the texture is at the back.
On the bottom of the box, the top of the texture is at the front.
The height and bottomRadius specify the dimensions of the cone. The bottom and
side fields determine whether these parts are displayed or not. The origin is midway
between the top and bottom of the cone.
The shape of the cylinder is determined by the radius and height fields.
The center of the cylinder is at the origin. The side, bottom and top fields
determine which parts of the cylinder are displayed.
The radius field determines the size of the sphere.
