SwirlX3D Viewer Website Licensing

For viewing individual VRML or X3D files on your computer, use the standalone SwirlX3D Viewer appplication. It is a free program and can be used without cost. If, however, you wish to post these files to a website and require the SwirlX3D plug-ins to be used, then a website license is necessary. Can the same X3D scene be included on several HTML pages using a single file license?

Yes. The license is for display of the X3D or VRML scene, it can be displayed on many HTML pages within the same website. For example, an animated company logo can be displayed on multiple pages.

Can the X3D content be changed or updated without affecting the license?

Yes. The content of the scene can be modified at anytime. The only requirement is that the name of the file that contains the 3D content cannot be changed.
