Design and Implementation of Interactive 3D Projects

The creation of 3D scenes using interactive 3D is at the heart of much our work. We have created many programs that help support this creation. In the process, we have also developed a powerful in-house library of 3D sofware that can be used to provide custom functionality.

3D Data Conversion

Many 3D software programs have the ability to export to VRML or X3D. Many can also export to Collada files. These paths provide the ability to import very detailed models into X3D.

In some cases, because of corrupted files or poor software, the exported files may need to be repaired. For example, it is not uncommon for textures to get lost in the conversion process. Pinecoast is often able to repair many of these corrupted files.
