Convert IGES files to VRML and X3D

The Swirl IGES Viewer can be used to display the contents of igs or iges files. The Translator version on the other hand is capable of converting the files to other formats such as VRML and X3D. VRML is the earlier version of X3D. As a result when saving to VRML format there is a possibility that some of the content may be lost.

The Swirl IGES Translator expands the migration path to make it easier to bring various 3D content into VRML and X3D scenes. Within these formats animation and interactivity can be added to make them become alive.
